Rental Expert plays a considerable role in the initial customer experience and the overall customer journey. The Rental Expert is responsible for identifying sales opportunities, building customer rapport, converting opportunities into sales, and managing customer communication across multiple inbound and outbound channels.

Key Responsibilities
Order Management and Sourcing
- Handle rental requests submitted through the client platform.
- Contact local suppliers to confirm equipment availability and secure quotes.
- Assign and manage orders to ensure they are accepted and fulfilled on time.
Supplier Coordination and Relationship Management
- Maintain and manage relationships with a wide network of rental suppliers.
- Support the onboarding of new suppliers to the system.
- Provide insights to suppliers regarding market trends and performance.
Customer Support and Experience
- Assist customers in placing and managing rental orders.
- Communicate updates regarding delivery, rental changes, and issues.
- Provide guidance on using the online platform for self-service tasks.
Logistics and Delivery Oversight
- Coordinate the transportation and delivery of equipment.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any logistics delays.
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup of rented equipment.
Issue Resolution and Risk Management
- Address customer complaints, damages, or delivery issues.
- Manage claims and questions related to the Rental Protection Plan (RPP).
- Work to resolve disputes quickly and professionally.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2-5 years of customer service/sales experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Call Center experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask between calls and emails
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of various cloud-based software and applications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
- Passionate about providing a superior customer service experience
