Freight and Logistics Claims Representative

The Claims Representative plays a vital role in managing and resolving freight and logistics claims efficiently and accurately. This position involves investigating, evaluating, and processing claims related to lost, damaged, or delayed shipments. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of freight and logistics operations, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with NICE CRM to manage and track claims throughout the resolution process.

• Receive, review, and process freight and logistics claims related to loss, damage, or delays.
• Investigate claims by coordinating with internal teams, carriers, customers, and vendors to gather necessary documentation and evidence.
• Utilize NICE CRM to log, track, and update claims status, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Communicate with claimants to provide updates, clarify information, and negotiate resolutions.
• Analyze claim details to determine validity and liability based on company policies and contractual agreements.
• Collaborate with legal, insurance, and operations teams to resolve complex claims.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on claim trends, settlement statuses, and outstanding issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve the claims process for better customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Previous experience in freight and logistics claims handling or a related role.
• Proficiency in using NICE CRM or similar customer relationship management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of freight shipping, logistics operations, and relevant legal regulations is preferred.
